Hampstead Maths Buddy
The brief
I was asked to move a website away from WordPress to Squarespace to enable the owner, a London-based maths tutor, to have greater control of the design of her site and also to enable her to regularly access her website analytics to see how the site is performing. The project involved recreating the site in Squarespace and upgrading the design to have more colour and to distribute the website content (previously contained on a single, long scrolling page) across several pages in order to improve the website user experience and boost search engine optimisation. A new blog section was also added, as well as a privacy notice and cookie banner to ensure that the site is compliant with data protection regulations.
Custom CSS features in the design to tailor it more closely to the client’s requirements, and post-launch SEO tweaks are being made to the site for this maths tutor in London to assist with search engine rankings. The previous site also wasn’t connected to any social media accounts, which has been rectified in the new design.
Do you have a brand new website project in mind, require a website audit or a design refresh?
I’d be delighted to discuss your website requirements with you. After an initial discussion followed by the collection of some further details, I provide a no-obligation proposal document for your consideration.
