Changing Gear
The brief
Changing Gear is a website I designed for a book launch. It is a simple, one-page scrolling site, which uses anchor links in the main navigation to jump to the respective page sections. Additionally, a smooth scroll animation was added using CSS to bring some fluidity to the movement of jumping from one-page section to another. The orange colour accent from the book is used throughout the site to give it a holistic feel, and although it’s not apparent from the screenshots here, the orange sections have a subtle gear motif in the background which lends a bit of interest.
The site includes SEO optimised PDF exercises that can be downloaded by the visitor and a simple contact form page.
